Recent changes to the medicare system allow for significant rebates for osteopathic treatments. Under the Enhanced Primary Care scheme from Medicare you are entitled to receive up to 5 rebated treatments per calendar year if you:

• have a chronic condition (have had it for at least a few months) and
• have been managed by your GP and one other Medicare-recognised practitioner and
• are given a doctor's referral for osteopathic services.
